Subscriptions, trials and refunds

WonLock's subscription is billed by Apple, not by us. To see what you are on, switch plans, or cancel: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

A free trial has to be cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends, or it renews at the regular price — that is an Apple rule and we cannot waive it from our side. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong on our end, tell us anyway and we will back you up on the request.

Restoring a purchase — on a new phone, or after a reinstall: open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account that bought the subscription.

App blocking and Screen Time

Blocking uses the Apple Screen Time framework, so iOS asks you for permission before WonLock can shield anything. If you said no and want to change that: iOS Settings → Screen Time, and then pick your apps again in WonLock under Settings → App lock.

Two things surprise people, and both are iOS behaving correctly:

  • We cannot see which apps you picked. iOS hands us anonymous tokens, not names — which is also why the app can never show you a usage chart of its own.
  • A shield lifts the moment you have minutes to spend, and comes back when they run out. If a blocked app opens when you did not expect it to, you probably have a balance.

To turn blocking off entirely, remove the apps from the picker, or revoke Screen Time permission in iOS Settings — every shield the app set is lifted.

Widgets and Live Activities

iOS gives no app a way to install its own widget, so this part needs your hands: press and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen, tap +, search for WonLock, pick a size, then Add Widget. For the Lock Screen, press and hold the Lock Screen → Customise → Lock Screen → tap a slot under the clock. The app notices once one is installed.

Notifications stopped arriving

Check iOS Settings → Notifications → WonLock is allowed, and that a Focus or the app's own quiet hours are not covering the time you expected a prompt. Prompts are also deliberately quiet during the sleep window you set — nothing is scheduled across it.

Starting over, or deleting everything

Start a new chapter (Settings → Context reset) restarts the rhythm and the day counters while keeping your jar, savings and history.

Delete everything (Settings → Your data) removes your contracts, check-ins, jar and history from the phone and from iCloud, on every device. It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel a subscription — do that in the App Store.

Your data

There is no account. Your record stays on your phone and in your own iCloud. Text leaves the phone only when you use the AI helper. The WonLock Privacy Policy covers this app specifically, and the Terms of Service apply.
